Physical geography: North Korea has a lot of mountains. In fact there is so many mountains that only one-fifth of it is plains and lowlands. The mountains are very high, like some places in Asia. Although, in some places of North Korea the mountains cannot be seen. The highest peak of North Korea is the Baekdu mountain.

Human geography: North Korea's human geography is mainly the fronteer with South Korea. Before, there was only 1 country named Korea, but after August 15, 1945.
